Itinerary

Make your way to Uttarkashi. The Vishwanath Temple is among the sights to be seen. Get checked in at the hotel. Enjoy a leisurely day. There will be a night stop. At the junction of two rivers - Varuna and Ashi - that flow into the Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is an attractive town. A little town elevated at 1588 meters, this one has the same kind of temples and ghats as Kashi and Varanasi, and its river faces north.

Early in the morning, pack breakfast and leave for Gangotri after tea/coffee. Performing prayers, pooja darshan, and then driving back to Uttarkashi, stopping along the way to visit Gangnani & Harsil. Uttarkashi is the place to stay overnight.

Leaving early morning with a packed breakfast, you will travel almost a full day to Rudraprayag. You will drive along Ganga, which gives way to Tehri Dam (a hydroelectric project). Spend the night at the Rudarparyag hotel.

We depart from Joshimath for Badrinath via Narsimha Temple and Sankaracharya Math after breakfast. In the evening, visit Badrinath temple for Darshan and Pooja. Accommodations in Badrinath for the night.

During the early morning hours, pilgrims have the opportunity to see Badrivishal after bathing in the Taptkund. The Brahamakapal has significance for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). As well as Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Mukh of the Saraswati River, there are several other locations that are worth visiting. There are just three kilometres between Badrinathjee and this point. Overlooking the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga, Joshimath lies on the slopes. Badrinath's winter seat is Joshimath, one of the four Maths established by Adi Shankaracharya.

Drive to Haridwar after breakfast and en route visit Deoprayag and Rishikesh (Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Gita Mandir). As soon as you are done sightseeing, proceed to Haridwar. At Haridwar, attend evening Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri. Spend the night in Haridwar.
